FOURTH FRIDAY IS MOVING TO A NEW VENUE. STARTING THIS MONTH, IT WILL BE HELD AT THE MONTAGUE/URSCHEL GALLERY OF THE PORTER COUNTY MUSEUM, 20 INDIANA AVENUE, VALPARAISO. SEE MAP AND DIRECTIONS BELOW.
PEDRAM ETEBARI was born and raised in Kerman, Iran. He came to the USA in December 2012 with his sister Paria. After spending six months in English language training, they both enrolled in Valparaiso University. Pedram completed a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, while his sister worked on a master’s in Ethics and Values. While at VU, Pedram met a fellow student who became his wife Rachel.
Pedram is an accomplished athlete who played professional soccer in Iran. He now owns and operates FiTrain, a fitness studio in Valparaiso. Pedram told his audience about the history of the Persian Empire, the various ethnicities living in Iran, cultural traditions, and food.
