PROFESSOR OSSAMA ABDELGAWWAD made a special presentation about the Muslim observation of Ramadan from an Egyptian perspective.
Professor Abdelgawwad joined Valparaiso University’s Theology Department in August 2018. He teaches introductory courses on Christianity, Abrahamic Religions, and Islamic religion and culture. He obtained his MA and Ph.D. from the Religious Studies Department at Indiana University – Bloomington. As an Egyptian Fulbright scholar, Professor Abdelgawwad is interested in cross-culture interactions, dialogue, and international education.
