Rosa Wiegel was born and raised in Nahuizalco, a small community in the Sonsonate region of El Salvador. Her journey has taken her across several countries and cultures\u2014from studying Agribusiness Administration at Zamorano University in Honduras, to working in the field of animal genetics in the United States through a program with The Ohio State University.<\/p>\n

In 2022, Rosa began a new chapter in America, where she later met her husband, James Wiegel. Today, she lives in Valparaiso and works as a Neonatal Technician at eGenesis, a company focused on xenotransplantation research.<\/p>\n
