After high school, Aida moved to Puerto Rico and earned a Bachelor\u2019s in Business Education at the University of Puerto Rico. During the school breaks, she traveled the entire Island and neighboring Caribbean islands learning how to cook authentic Puerto Rican dishes. Returning to Indiana, she has earned two Master\u2019s degrees \u2013 in Secondary Education &amp; Accounting \u2013 at Indiana University.<\/p>\n<p>Aida devoted her free time to taking cooking classes with chefs from local restaurants, traveling in Europe, Canada, Mexico, South America and most of the United States, learning about (and cooking!) different cultures and cuisines!<\/p>\n<p>Aida decided to write a cookbook as she was frequently either showing and\/or explaining to her friends how to cook Puerto Rican food, and because she wanted to create a legacy for a new generation interested in this Latin American cuisine.
